Day #2: Friends…
Onward -
Day #2 in Roanoke, Va brought friends, friends’ sisters, friends’ mothers, and a stack of snacks waiting outside the AR mobile. If for nothing else, this blog is a great place to give shout outs to the special friends of AR who help us keep doing what we do and loving what we love. Chapel Hill resident David Huffines (recently birthday-ed) treated his girlfriend, Taylor Eaddy (soon to be birthday-ed), to a 3 hour trip up to Roanoke to check out the show. “Hell, I figured if you guys made the trip 8 hours down here, we might as well make the 3 hour trip up.” – Hammer
NYC based AR fan Sarah Frazier (born and raised down in Roanoke) created a facebook event for our show last night. Her sister, friends, and Mother came to check out the show. Sarah’s mother (Tar Heel Alum!) kindly spoke over the loud music that “(she) brought us some snacks for the road. I feel horrible though, I really wanted to make you cookies but I got called into work.” Simply amazing. “It’s southern hospitality,” her sister said.
This tour, this music, these experiences, all of this wouldn’t be possible without the support and love we receive from our friends and family. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.
Much love,
AR
