We blew up the Bell House last night with a full-blown brassy, rockin’, choral, movin’ show. The energy was electric and the vibe was ecstatic. Many thanks to all who made it out.

We’d like to express a special thanks to those who contributed their amazing talents last night. We were honored to play with you, and your creativity and skill humble us. On horns, thanks to: Katie Chauvot (trumpet), Jackie Coleman (trumpet), and Ric Becker (trombone). People, check out Collective Pursuit live. They wail. In the choir, we have members of the amazing NYC-based a cappella choir Treble: Beth St. James Eldridge, Ellen Folan, Kirkley Strand, Meredith Strang, and Dana Wise.

We’d also like to thank Adam Holz, Alex Knee, and Michael Artsis for filming last night’s show. (Yeah, that’s right. Even if you weren’t there, you’ll get to see all that went down…)

To score two free tickets to our show this Wednesday at the Bell house, all you have to do is correctly answer the following riddle. (Please leave your answers in the comment section.)

What is wrong with this statement:

Three sailors check into a motel. They ask the guy at the front desk how much one room for the night is. The front desk man says “$30″. The sailors say “great” and each put in $10. Shortly after, the manager informs the front desk man that sailors get a discount, one night for $25. The front desk man takes $5 up to the sailors room. Being the little punk that he is, the front desk man pockets $2 and gives the sailors back $3. The sailors say “thanks” and each take $1. “Only $9 bucks for a room aint bad!” one of the sailors says. There are three sailors. 3 x $9 = $27. Front desk little punk takes $2. $27 + $2 = $29. There is a missing dollar.
